Our "Balaustra" one-of-a-kind 2-pedestal table features a majestic, 2.75" (7 cm) thick, solid slab board of heavy Old European Chestnut of exceptional character and beauty. The surface is brushed to accentuate the ancient grain, and preserved with the traditional Italian Classic shellac. Natural irregularities in the tree shape create the dynamic beauty of the top and edge surfaces. Solid slab with exception of an insert complement in one corner.
