Italian Mid-Century Formal Table with Honey Onyx Top, Art Nouveau
An extraordinary one of a kind Italian table from circa 1940 from Manifattura Colli Torino. The two legs present on the faces an elegant composition of different veneers and on their sides an elaborated hand-carved giltwood profile with ears of corn and flowers. The giltwood has a faux bronze finish matching the hand-forged & hammered cross bracket. The top is a beautiful vein-cut Honey Onyx piece with wonderful shaped edges, atop a large slab of travertine for strength.
